
Warm your heart and home! Cozy up with cottage cheese and spinach stuffed shells for a delightful dish that’s sure to please everyone at the table
Ingredients:
– 12 jumbo pasta shells
– 1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup cooked & chopped spinach
– 1 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
Grated parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
Method:
1. Boil up some jumbo shells as you would normally for pasta. Drain and set aside.
2. Make Filling: In a bowl, combine cottage cheese with chopped spinach, garlic powder salt and pepper.
3. Stuffed Shells: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake in saucePour a thin layer of marinara on the bottom of an oven dish. Spread cottage cheese filling over each noodle: Roll up & put in dish.
4. Put Together IngredientsCover the bottom of a 13×9-inch baking dish with half of the marinara sauceLayer stuffed shells on topPour remaining marinara sauce over stuffed shellssprinkle shells with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses
5. Bake: Cover the dish with tin foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover; bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
6. To Serve: Bubble wrap – Let sit for a couple minutes to cool off.
